The Opening Weekend events bring together the esteemed group of exhibition participants to discuss their installations in the context of the unique design legacy of Columbus. Opening Weekend is also a celebration of the entire Columbus community that, for over 75 years, has invested in their belief in the power that art, architecture, and design has to improve peoples’ lives and making cities better places to live.

Exhibition Conversations / Free and open to the public

The Exhibition Conversations provide a platform for participants to respond to their fellow designers and provide a better understanding of the intentions behind their projects, allowing attendees to learn more about the designers experiences responding to and working within Columbus’ unique design legacy.

Opening Party / Ticketed event

A ticket to the Opening Party provides an evening of cocktails, food, and entertainment in celebration of Exhibit Columbus as we toast the designers and supporters who made the 2019 Exhibition possible.

The 2019 exhibition, Good Design and the Community, is free and open to the public, and will transform downtown Columbus through December 1.
